Traditionally, network marketing is a “push” marketing model, which involves getting your prospects motivated to enroll into a team. The member will then be “coached” and learn the same system in order to further develop the team. Sounds logical and familiar?
The process is not as efficient as it can be? The traditional network marketing companies has several intrinsic faults. One of the most apparent issues is, the drop-out rate is high. The problem usually lies with the steep curve in learning all the ropes to sustain a profitable business. If you have been in the industry for any time, you know that it’s true. Besides, you need to understand the Company’s structure, the Company’s compensation plan, the product benefits, not to talk of all the marketing tactics that you need to learn and apply towards your business. The model is difficult to maintain, develop and duplicated.

In order to be successfully in network marketing, there is a proven formula, but it’s not the formula that your upline has been telling you. The trick is a paradigm shift - changing how you approach the business. Instead of using the traditional push method, it’s a attractive pull methodology.

You provide a solution upfront and solve a person’s problem. By doing accurate research, and performing preselling service. You should be understand what problems your current prospects are having. Then you would ask yourself, what’s the root cause of the problem? How would the prospects gain value and solve their pain through you, your information rather. You provide to what they need, with a implied solution in your products. That way, you are establishing your credentials as an expert in the field. Instead of being a salesperson, you are the expert to the problem. The “Net” results? The person will love to hear your advice and buy your solution. This is the way to do network marketing (MLM) business.
It’s not only reasonable, but also doable. Why is your team head not telling you all this? Because most MLM promotes GRQ (get rich quick), few team leaders are willing to invest the time in teaching their members the right approach towards the business.

I am not a network marketing person, but I have some friends who are active MLM persons, who often updates me on what’s on new with Network Marketing Industries. I truly think many MLM companies are fanastic, with their excellent support/ products.
However, the main problem with the industry often lies in how people represent the products. The one common trait I see from all successful MLM leaders is their ethusaism towards their products, companies and life in general.
If you are selling some weight loss (MLM) products, what should you do? Many MLMers would just go ahead and invite their friends who apparently need the products, or they would just go out and promote a business opportunity. To me, it’s not wrong, but it may not be the right way in approaching this business.
First, you should first study the specific feature of the product, is it a herb product? What’s the specific niche of the product? Can you list 5-10 benefits that only your product can deliver to your prospects? Why should someone buy your weight loss products instead of someone else?
